alternating pressure air mattress pump are used to prevent and treat 'bedsores' or 'pressure sores'. They are also used to provide burn patients, patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's disease, etc. with comfort and relief.
alternating pressure air mattress pump is a replacement alternating air mattress system that is designed for patients who are at medium-high risk of developing pressure ulcers. This mattress is ideal for use within a hospital, hospice or care home environment, with an easy to use digital control system that incorporates alternating & static modes with variable pressure settings.
Finermed carry a wide selection of medical air alternating pressure anti bedsore mattress to meet the needs of our patients care and budget.
medical alternating pressure air mattress has been designed as an effective solution for the prevention and management of pressure ulcers, offering enhanced quality of care and reduced risks for caregivers. The proprietary pressure/body-weight algorithm is embedded within a quiet and vibration-free pump, which enables automatic pressure adjustment in response to individual body mass distribution and patient movement. Two different heights of mattress are also available f including the 8" cell-on-cell mattress which is able to provide at least 8 hours of basic support during power outages. The system is intended for the delivery of high quality care to vulnerable patients and residents, whilst remaining easy-to-use for the caregivers and simple to clean and maintain.
20cm cell on cell alternating pressure mattress with pump is an effective alternating overlay/replacement system combined with static therapy mode. By having a series of individual cells inflate and deflate alternatively over about ten- minute cycle, patients receive their adequate pressure relief. The system can be switched to a static therapy mode to reduce the pressure at the interface by means of immersion. It will also be easier to facilitate all kinds of nursing procedures including dressing changes and patient repositioning at static mode. An optional silver-ion Nylon/PU cover is also available to increase the antimicrobial effect. With clear weight indicator reference dial adjustment, It is easy to use and is recommended for patients at medium risk to high risk of pressure ulcers.
Cell-on-cell Bladder Design featureThe bottom cells acts as basic pressure support in case of power failure for the system without extra foam base
